MatMadness is an NCAA Wrestling bracket prediction and tournament tracking application. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how it is protected when you use the service.

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

• Display name — the name shown to other users in leagues and leaderboards

Account access is managed through secure sign-in methods. You may be able to use email-based login or sign in through a connected account, depending on what is offered. We do not store passwords.

User Content

When using the application, you may create or submit:

• Bracket predictions and saved entries
• Team score predictions and tiebreaker selections
• Leagues you create or participate in
• League invitations, memberships, and related activity

This information is necessary to provide the core functionality of the service.

Technical and Usage Information

We may collect limited technical data needed to operate the application, such as display preferences, timestamps related to account and activity records, and standard information transmitted by your browser when you access the service.

Account information and user content are retained while your account is active. If your account is deleted, associated data will be removed from the service, subject to routine backup retention practices.

Cookies used for preferences may remain on your device until they expire or are cleared through your browser.

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, such as the right to access, correct, or delete your data.
